Tuition and Financial Aid
TheStudent Financial Services Officeis your source for information on PennWest ClarionTuition & Fees, theFinancial Aidapplication process (includes scholarships, grants, and loans), as well as thepayment optionsavailable through the university.
FERPA and Student Records
PennWest Clarion`sFamily Educational Rights and Privacy ACT (FERPA) Notification Statementmakes students aware of their rights related the access and review of their educational records maintained by the university. Additional information concerning the Nondisclosure of Directory Information and the Release of Information Form can be found by visiting theRegistrar's Office.
Orientation and Welcome Week
The Student Development Office works to meet the needs of all incoming students whether they are first time in college, transfer, commuter or returning adults. This Office also coordinatesNew Student OrientationandWelcome Week. Additionally, theCenter for First Year Experienceoffers resources specifically for new students.
Living at Clarion
Through the Center for Residence Life Services you can get all of the details on the different housing options PennWest Clarion offers from theHilltop SuitesandSuites on MaintoReinhard VillagesandHousing at Venango. You can also learn about the university's住房要求ement, request anexemptionfrom University Affiliated Housing,apply for housing, getcontract release information, and learn about theFlex Dollars. Additionally, instructions for sending packages to your student can be foundhere.
The Department of Judicial Affairspromotes responsible citizenship by protecting student rights, and maintaining the principles outlined in the PennWest Clarion`sStudent Code of Conduct.
Meal Plans and More
Aramark is proud to be PennWest Clarion`s food service provider. By visiting theirwebsiteyou can you can learn about, and purchase, a meal plan, find out what's on the menu at their dining locations, access a variety of nutrition tools, and much, much more.
Parking and Campus Safety
The PennWest Clarion Police Officers have full police authority, are Act 120 certified, attend regular update and specialized training, and they provide law enforcement and security services on all university-owned property, as well as Reinhard Villages, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. From their website you can get information aboutparking on campus, as well access theClarion Area Transitschedule, and access the university's annualSafety, Security & Crime Statistics Report. Students can also register two cell phone numbers and two email addresses in theEagle Alertsemergency notification system. This opt-in service is completely voluntary and is only used to notify the university community of emergency situations.
Health and Wellness
The Center for Wellness promotes students' holistic well-being and is home to theHealth Center,Counseling Services, theOffice of Health Promotions, theStudent Recreation Center, and the university'sStudent Support Assistant.
Dates, Deadlines, and Things to Do
TheAcademic Calendarcontains important dates and deadlines for each semester that students, and parents, need to know.CU CONNECTis the place where students can learn about organizations and events happening on campus. Individuals can also download the Corq App (from Google play or the Apple App Store), which is an easy and convenient way to access the CU CONNECT event feed.

Join ourPennWest Clarion Parent 2 Parent Portalto get just in time information about university news and events. We have over 20 Communities (i.e. Parent of Student Athletes, Alumni, Parents of First-Year Students, etc.) that you can join to receive specific information related to your student`s involvement at Clarion. There is also information on our portal about our Parent and Family Services sponsored events such as our Parent 2 Parent Social and Family Day.

Join our Parent and Family Association
Membership to the PennWest Clarion Parent & Family Association (PFA) can be purchased for $25.00 per family. Current memberships are good from July 1st, 2022-June 30th, 2023.Families who join the association will receive: A Parent & Family Association Local Business Discount Card good for 10% off purchases at local businesses, a “Parent & Family Association Member” window cling, "free" admission to Association sponsored events, and access to a special "Members Only" community page and content on the CU Parent 2 Parent Portal.
