I am an American Soldier.
I am a Warrior and a member of a team. I
serve the people of the United States and
live the Army Values.

tough, trained and proficient in my warrior
tasks and drills. I always maintain my
arms, my equipment and myself.
I am an expert and I am a professional.
I stand ready to deploy, engage, and
destroy the enemies of the United States
of America in close combat.
I am a guardian of freedom and the
American way of life.
I am an American Soldier.

The Cadet Creed

I am an Army Cadet. Soon I will take an
oath and become an Army Officer
committed to defending the values which
make this nation great. Honor is my
touchstone. I understand mission first and people always.
people always.
I am the past - the spirit of those warriors
who have made the final sacrifice.
I am the present - the scholor and
apprentice soldier enhancing my skills in the
science of warfare and the art of leadership.
But above all, I am the future - the future
warror leader of the United States Army.
May God give me the compassion and
judgement to lead and the gallantry in battle
to win.
I will do my duty.

The Army Values

Loyalty: Bear true faith and allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, the Army, your unit, and other soldiers.
Duty: Fulfill your obligations.
Respect: Treat people as they should be treated.
Selfless Service: Put the welfare of the nation, the Army, and your subordinates before your own.
Honor: Live up to all the Army values.
Integrity: Do what's right, legally and morally.
Personal Courage: Face fear, danger, or adversity (Physical or Moral).

General Orders

1. I will guard everything within the limits of my post and quit my post only when properly relieved.
2. I will obey my special orders and perform all of my duties in a military manner.
3. I will report all violations of my special orders, emergencies, and anything not covered in my instructions to the commander of my relief.

Code of Conduct

我我是一个American, fighting in the forces that guard my country and our way of life. I am prepared to give my life in their defense.
II. I will never surrender of my own free will. If in command, I will never surrender the members of my command while they still have the means to resist.
III. If I am captured I will continue to resist by all means available. I will make every effort to escape and aid others to escape. I will accept neither parole nor special favors from the enemy.
IV. If I become a prisoner of war, I will keep faith with my fellow prisoners. I will give no information or take part in any action that might be harmful to my comrades. If I am senior, I will take command. If not, I will obey the lawful orders of those appointed over me and will back them up in every way.
V. When questioned, should I become a prisoner of war, I am required to give name, rank, service number and date of birth. I will evade answering further questions to the utmost of my ability. I will make no oral or written statement disloyal to my country and its allies or harmful to their cause.
VI. I will never forget that I am an American, fighting for freedom, responsible for my actions, and dedicated to the principles, which made my country free. I will trust in my God and in the United States of America.
